Conserving Resources is Good Business
How can Resource Management Associates help you?
We develop and implement forest management plans for both private and public clients to generate income, increase asset values, and promote forest health and durability while concurrently providing aesthetic, recreational, and quality environmental benefits.
Most farmland owners are not farmers and need assistance to insure agricultural activities are increasing asset values, enhancing recreational opportunities while enhancing the capability of the land to sustainably meet the landowner’s short- and long-term ownership objectives.
Our philosophy towards wildlife management is based on a holistic approach rather than single-species management. Wildlife recreational uses can provide personal enjoyment that can be the glue that binds families and can also provide annual revenue through recreational leases. We have prepared management plans for commercial hunting, nature reserves, public and private owners.
Invasive Species Control
We are a licensed, Commercial Pesticide Business in Virginia and West Virginia and holds applicator certificates in Landscape, Forestry, Aquatic, Right of Way and Research/ Demonstration. Our clients include private landowners, Homeowners Associations, the National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of Justice, and US Army/Air Force/Navy/Marines
Land Cover Management
Land-cover evolves over time. The ability for vegetation to meet functional requirements such for timber production, water quality protection, aesthetic or visual buffers and wildlife habitat also changes as the size, density, maturity, and fruiting capability of vegetation evolves.
Environmental & Water
We are committed to promoting water quality protection by use of best management practices and pre-site disturbance planning. We are certified as Erosion & Sediment Control and Stormwater Management combined administrators, supporting our ability for developing and implementing plans as well as reviewing proposed plans.
